About

I’m not an AI. At least I don’t think so…

FutureResolve’s essays are written by me, Peter Wicher. FutureResolve’s purpose is to inform, inspire, and entertain the readers. You’re one of our readers: thank you!

I’ve been in Silicon Valley for over 30 years, doing everything from designing chips to running global sales and marketing organizations. I’m a tech fan, but I don’t deal in sensational BS. If there’s a FutureResolve essay about brain-internet interfaces (Hey, there is one! And another! And another!) you can bet that a lot of research went into it.

The Future is fuzzy. I do two things when looking ahead. 1) Keep a sense of humor. The future is as weird and amazing as 3D-printed steaks. 2) Understand where we’ve come from. Before looking ahead, always look at what got us here. So, in FutureResolve you’ll find humor, history, and some projections for the future.

Anyone who tells you they can predict the future is full of BS. But you can spot patterns.

I’m curious about pretty much everything. Thankfully FutureResolve’s readers are, too. The essay subjects are wide-ranging but always forward-thinking.

Did I mention that most of the essays are pretty long?

It’s an incredible time to be alive. The world changes faster every day, so strap in and enjoy the ride.
